Update FRC Driver Station, get the latest software from NI.
Update the RoboRIO (or SystemCore) firmware to the latest version, make sure code is deployed and tested after this.
Turn off Wi-Fi. Laptops have issues with FMS connectivity when enabled.
Ensure IPv6 is disabled. To do so, go to Control Panel / Network and Internet / Network Connections, right-click on the ethernet adapter, click properties, and disable Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
If you don't, an FTA will likely do it for you before your first match, so do it beforehand to make things easier.
Make sure you have a charger and ethernet adapter if needed!
